Hello, my name is Peta, and I am a digital artist from Jamaica.

I am a lover of trees, flowers, beautiful landscapes and all the in-between. I believe that there is a sort of wonder in all-natural things. Being in nature rejuvenates us and gives us life and inspiration.

The purpose of this blog is to showcase my artwork and the thoughts and processes behind it. I want to depict the magic I feel when I am in nature and to show you how that manifests into works of art.

Here we will discuss things that are important to us as growing artists like you and me. We will talk about the different obstacles we face and the joy that comes with it. We will also discuss how we can make the most out of every situation and how we can maximize our skills and talents.

So I hope you are ready to embark on this mystical and magical journey through art. I am here to help in whatever way I can, so feel free to ask any questions or leave any comments.

What is “Stardust” To me, this piece is an accumulation of all my skills at the time painting. It is a reminder that I hold universes and galaxies in me and that I am capable of creating beautiful works of art. Dealing with Self-doubt as an Artist

“What I weigh” I weigh the storm I weigh a thousand stories long. I weigh my mother’s fortitude and my father’s eyes I weigh the way they look at me with pride I weigh strength and fearless and the warrior in me. I weigh all the pain and trauma that made me see That I have more galaxies inside me than tragedies. We all weigh joys and darkness and goodness and sin You see, we are infinite within this skin we are in. So when they ask you what you weigh You don’t need to look down at any scale.
